Porto is where it all began, in April 2015. There are no photos of the original meeting itself, which was in a bar in town. Instead, there is this photo which shows four of the five founders of the Committee enjoying a conference dinner on a boat on the river Douro.

Also pictured is friend of the Committee, Pedro Principe, who gave up the chance to see his football team, FC Porto, beat Bayern Munich 3-1 in the Champions League, so that he could show us excellent Portugese hospitality.
