The annual meeting in 2017 was in Venice, in the beautiful location of the campus of the Università Ca’ Foscari. This background to this photo was part of the stunning view from the baclony outside the meeting room.

The Committee found time to meet and do some BBQ planning, despite being accommodated in various different locations in the city including, in Gultekin's case, staying in a hotel with a curfew, run by nuns.
